Current status
This NMRIH2 lore page is reserved for a source-backed explanation of story, characters, timeline, and links to the first game. It will not speculate about the virus, character motives, or canon from incomplete material. Once official and in-game sources are organized, the page will distinguish confirmed narrative details from fan interpretation.
