Core mechanics
Permadeath & Infection
Infection can be delayed with Phalanx Pills or cured with the single-match Gene Therapy. A complete mission failure or extraction can put a Responder at permanent risk, while successful runs let you improve Skills and gear for harder attempts. Proximity voice chat makes nearby coordination part of the survival loop.
